
Ingredients
- 1 (1/4 oz) envelope active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 cups warm milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Procedure
- Combine yeast and water in a glass measuring cup; let mixture stand for 5 minutes.
- Combine yeast mixture, milk, butter, sugar, salt in a large mixture bowl.
- Add flour, eggs, baking soda stirring until smooth.
- Cover and chill for 8 hours.
- Spray waffle iron. Iron should be set to 4.5.
