Maggy’s Strawberry Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 strawberry cake mix
  • 2- 4 oz bag frozen strawberries
  • 8 oz Cool Whip

Procedure

  1. Bake cake as directed then allow to cool.
  2. Blend 1 bag of strawberries in blender and thaw out 2nd bag of strawberries.
  3. When cake is cooled, poke holes in cake with fork.
  4. Using a spoon, push cake aside and insert thawed out strawberry. Repeat this process until you’ve finished all of the strawberries.
  5. Pour over blended strawberries on top of cake. Refrigerate and allow cake to absorb cake blended strawberries.
  6. After about 30 minutes, frost with cool whip. Top with fresh strawberries.
    • NOTE: To speedup absorption, poke more holes with fork.
