
Ingredients
- 11 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 Tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, heaping
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- hot water
Procedure
- Mix dries together.
- Mix vegetable oil into dries.
- Slowly add water and mix with hand until flour mixture is no longer sticking to hand.
- Massage dough into a ball and let rest in a covered bowl for 10-15 minutes, until dough is spongy. (softly touch)
- Roll dough into small balls, about 8.
- Pre-heat skillet on medium high heat.
- On a lightly floured working surface and floured rolling pin, roll out 1 ball till desired size.
- Place on pre-heated skillet right away and flip once bubbly.
- Store cooked tortillas in a container, wrapping tortillas in a towel.
- Repeat steps 7 and 10 till complete.
