
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz can)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz can)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Procedure
- Combine the kale, almonds, Sauté ground turkey in skillet over medium-high heat until cooked.
- Add garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Add water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, and seasoned salt. Stir well.
- Cover and allow to cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to skillet, stir well, return the lid and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Turn off heat, remove the bay leaves, and add cheddar cheese right before serving.
