Cheesy Turkey Goulash

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz can)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz can)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Procedure

  1. Combine the kale, almonds, Sauté ground turkey in skillet over medium-high heat until cooked.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, and seasoned salt. Stir well.
  4. Cover and allow to cook for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to skillet, stir well, return the lid and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  6. Turn off heat, remove the bay leaves, and add cheddar cheese right before serving.
